Magic Trick #21 for you -

I am going to talk technology today and the power it possesses.

But before we dive into that - let me assure you - it still has a long way to go.

For instance, this newsletter was supposed to drop in your inbox on a Friday.

But failed due to reasons unknown.

I hope it makes it now by a Saturday as I edit this.

Okay - so today we are going to talk about 1 little experiment we did.

Automate our Instagram account end2end.

Results did not matter for us, we just wanted to see how the content performed when taken over by AI.

Here’s what we did -

1/ Created a page called @quoteswithcwc

The idea was to post 2x everyday at 9:15 AM IST and 6:00 PM IST.

We decided to pick on 2 things to go alternatively -
1. Marketing & Branding quotes
2. Marketing & Branding facts

2/ Used ChatGPT 4.0 to create content

We prompted ChatGPT 4.0 to give us unique facts and quotes on our niche.

Double checked if there were none that repeated or looked odd and exported them into 2 different spreadsheets.

3/ Open Canva and design templates

We picked on 7 seconds clips from Canva’s existing dictionary.

Added 2 different trending audios.

Exciting and charging one for our facts video.
Calming and soothing for our quotes video.

This was to A/B test on what was liked by the audience in general.

4/ Import spreadsheets to Canva

We picked our quotes and facts spreadsheets and imported it to Canva.
Canva AI ensured that it fit each one of them on our template while duplicating the templates.

The templates had texts that matched the column names on the spreadsheet.
example the template had - [name], [quotes]
And the spreadsheet had the same.

Canva AI matched them and placed it accordingly.

To our surprise there was no error and alignment issue whatsoever.

5/ Schedule using Canva

The Canva in-built scheduler helped us connect our meta account with itself and schedule all the posts accordingly.

The caption was again generated by ChatGPT 4.0 with hashtags as well.


All this took us good 25 minutes - at maximum.
And generated content for 33 days.

We let the profile run without any external help and saw us gaining 28 followers.


Yes, it’s far from what it could be but with how GPT 4.0 is evolving it’ll soon read and pick on Instagram algorithm and these posts will get even better.

We’ll be experimenting more on this and will let you all know soon.
