I Found Out The Craziest Hack In Marketing!

Friday Edition

Mini Introduction -

I am officially launching my first update in this newsletter.

Something I used to do in one of my previous roles while writing newsletters was to make it interactive.

I want you to play this song in the background while reading this -

if you are on your laptop - this
if you are on your mobile/tablet - this

SO - I have 2 news for you. Bad and Good - how they generally come.

I am assuming you are just like me and would want to know the bad one first.

❎ Bad news - This newsletter is going to be a long one. I am estimating a 5-minute read.

✔️ Good news - I’ll run you through the planned updates for the newsletter.

Note - if you had read my last one, you’d know that I had been planning changes to how this newsletter will be looking in the future.

If you happen to object to any changes, drop me an email.
I’ll see what I can do to make this newsletter better with your advice.

Either way, I would still love feedback - good or bad.

Carrying on -

After hours of brainstorming, I have decided on 3 different sections.

  1. Something no one does but you should - This section will have 1 mindblowing idea you should implement this week

  2. Free forever for you - This section will give you access to 1 resource that you will find useful in this journey of building a personal brand.

  3. What’s cooking at CwC? - This section will tell you everything you need to know about what we are building at CwC.

Enough talk - let’s get started, shall we?

Something no one does but you should 💁🏻

Have you heard of this term called identity marketing?

I’ll break it down for you -

It’s where the brand does its bits to ensure its campaign revolves around a particular segment of its customers.

You see - we have been using identity marketing for long enough.

Just that the smarter people have been doing so with their customers as well.

For instance, your company peeps have a blue-coloured banner on their LinkedIn.

Part of identity marketing.

Here’s how you can use it even better & directly with your customers -

→ add the word ‘er’ in your copy. (Thank you Jonah Berger for this)

Why does it happen?

You are asking your audience to build an identity rather than taking a one-time action.

You won’t believe it when I say that the data backs it.
When the word ‘voter’ is used against ‘vote’ - there was an increase of 15% in turnout.
& so many more.

I’ll give you a couple of examples here -

  • Help us improve on this app → Be a beta tester for the app

  • Join our community here → Become a member here

  • Refer a friend to us → Become an ambassador with us

Free forever for you 🤩

Legit, forever ever for you.

This week - I’ll start by giving you one resource that’ll get you started on LinkedIn or adjust or experiment.

10 post templates.pdf253.50 KB • PDF File

Can I take a subtle dig with your permission?

A certain big creator takes upwards of £100 for these.

But we have got you covered.

I’d say don’t throw this in the bin. Use these templates at least 5 times.
Create 50 posts and use them in the next 100 odd days.

I promise results.

You can also tweak them a little to make it right fit for you.

What’s cooking at CwC? 🎃

LOTS is an understatement.

I’ll do my best to do justice to this section.

But hey, you get a look at our culture, functioning etc.

Item 1 - We just added someone new to the team.

This makes the core team of 7 people.

I’ll quickly introduce them (you can skip if you like but my suggestion is don’t)

1. Abirah Nabi - Community Manager
2. Arshnoor Puri - Content Head
3. Bhoomi Arora - Lead Generation Specialist
4. Preyansh Khurana - Content Head
5. Shriya Raithatha - Lead Generation Specialist
&
the co-founders in Vihangi Joshipura and me.

now, since ours is a small agency. Some of us also have added responsibilities of CRM, Expansion & more.

There is overlap and nobody complains.

This reminds me - congratulate Preyansh on his LinkedIn profile.

And Vihangi on reaching 20,000 followers on LinkedIn.

Every congratulations on their DM allows you to get another free resource.

Drop in a - Congratulations Preyansh/Vihangi and a subtle I need my free resource.

We added Preyansh to our team recently.

Also if you are interested in a Lead Generation Specialist role with us - reply to us with a mail on why should we have you on the team?

Item 2 - We have had some great client wins

  1. One of our clients got a blue LinkedIn Top Voice badge.

  2. We ended up raising £50,000+ for one of our clients

One of our clients ended up raising £52,243

Nothing ever beats a client win.

Item 3 - Future looks good

We live in a bizzaro world. Startups are dying. Someone constantly bickers that the economy is failing.

We, at CwC, have decided to be a team that listens to all but does not get affected.

In the next 6 months, we plan to -

  1. Reach a revenue of £50,000 (ngl, we are on a great track)

  2. Amass a following of 5000+ on Instagram, 7000+ on LinkedIn page, 2000+ on X & 10,000+ subscribers here on this newsletter

  3. Transition into an employer branding agency completely

Part of the reason is that we acknowledge - you (our audience) is our biggest superpower. And the more of you we have, the more we get heard.

Another reason is how personal branding or founder branding is perceived on LinkedIn.

Just posting - which it is not.

And you might not agree but every smart person acknowledges that AI will soon take over writing content.

Not a sustainable business then.

Hence, the movement.

We are on a run to make this newsletter the next James Clear. Help us get there by recommending this one. We’ll shower you with love all your life.

Achyuta & Vihangi
