How Do I Grow A Company Page On LinkedIn?

Friday Edition

Magic Trick #27 for you -

How do I grow a company page on LinkedIn?

I have asked this question to myself over the years.

Multiple experimentations over the last few months have given me a concrete answer.

Company Page CwC

1/ Repost posts of our community

When we started this page, we reposted 5 of our favourite content pieces every day.

Our primary target was to attract our community to our page and follow us.

This did not work well.

Part of the reason was the posts varied in length, tone & authority.

Another reason was the lack of original content on the page.

This created confusion for potential followers on what the page was about.

We did not grow well the first few weeks.

2/ Comments from the page on our community’s post

The next trick was the oldest in the book.

‘Engage and get them to our page’.

This was even dreadful in results.

People did not know who was commenting from the page on their posts.

Yes, 50% responded to our comments.

Yes, people visited our profile.

But hardly anyone followed.

This made us realise that we needed a face for the page to follow us.

3/ Post original content for our community

We sat down and created a content calendar.

An engaging one to make people follow us.

We understood that people hated information from a page that did not have a face or spoke to them.

Our calendar included -

Best Comments for the Week
Best Posts for the Week
Video content
Memes
Polls

We created a sense of belonging on the page.

People started popping up to see if their posts or comments made it to our carousel.

Some checked on the meme for the week.

We started gaining followers quickly.

4/ Put a face on the page

We got our Community manager posting on LinkedIn from her profile.

This showed the world who was creating content for the page.

And selecting their posts or comments for our elite list of the week.

Worked like magic.

People showed up to her profile and the page every week.

Her posts also revolved around her processes in selection, how the page works, the idea behind it etc.

Our page grew even quicker.

Page performance for the week

We have reached to more than 2000+ followers now.

And our post impressions are great for a LinkedIn page.

You don’t see 2000+ impressions on a page per week that easily.

And this will only get better from here considering we love experimenting.

P.S. - What are your thoughts on this?

We are on a run to make this newsletter the next James Clear. Help us get there by recommending this one. We’ll shower you with love all your life.
