Lie #1 → "Just focus on growing followers"
I spent my first 3 months chasing followers.
Result? 2K followers but £0 in revenue.

Followers don't pay bills. Systems do. One client paying £5K/month is worth more than 100K followers who never buy.
Lie #2 → "Don't sell too early" "Build an audience first," they said. "Monetise later."
Biggest mistake ever.
The truth: →
Start selling from day 1. My first £2K/mo came from an audience of just 2,500 followers. Because I had a clear offer and conversion system.

He dropped a comment. And I messaged him. That was it.
Lie #3 → "Post every day or you'll fail"
I believed this.
Burned out trying to create daily content.
The truth → Consistency beats frequency. 3 strategic posts per week that:
Show expertise
Address pain points
Have clear CTAs
This approach made me more money than daily random posts ever did.
I do 5 posts/week.
Saturdays and Sundays are off. As it should be.
Lie #4 → "Give everything for free" "Just provide value," they said. "The money will come."
Wrong again.
The truth → Free content should lead to paid solutions.
